From an early age I enjoyed creating patterns, combining shapes and colours rather than the usual drawings of                 dinosaurs or the archetypal ‘stick family’. 

Although I was aware of various main stream paintings and artists, my later influences were mainly from record cover designs, and with the introduction of typography into the mix, my choice of career was then set in motion.  

Art College brought me a much broader interest in all things ‘art’ and artists spanning various ‘...isms’! An interest I still      retain to this day. 

After long, successful career in Graphic Design, my work still captures strong graphic elements and language. The process is totally intuitive, from initial drawings to honing working shapes, contrasting flat bold, warm and cold colour with light                  and dark to provide immediate access to shape and               composition with subtle textures which  contribute to the   creation of volume, space, movement and light.
